**Maintenance Mechanic III** Manufacturing & Utilities Orange County, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 30 | Pay Rate High: 35 + Added - 17/06/2025 Apply for Job _Our client is seeking a skilled_ **_Maintenance Mechanic_** _to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and machinery within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices. The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations._ **Location:** Orange County, CA **Shift:** Monday - Friday , 8:00am - 5:00pm. Start time may shift due to business needs. OT as needed. **Type:** 6-Month Contract to Hire Opportunity **Pay:** $30.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. (depending on experience) **Responsibilities** + Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Utilize precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters, to analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems. + Perform hydraulic system repairs and maintenance as needed. + Execute field service tasks, addressing mechanical issues at various locations as required. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). + Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. + Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes. **Qualifications** + Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred. + Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments is essential. + Ability to analyze mechanical issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions. + Experience with field service operations is a plus. + Knowledge of CMMS software is advantageous but not mandatory. + Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
